Programs

School Field Trips and Programs

We invite children and their teachers, parents, and youth group leaders to take part in the exciting environmental education programs offered by the Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies in Homer and other locations in Kachemak Bay. We have provided field trip programs for Alaska\'s schools for more than 20 years. Our programs have been recognized for excellence by both the National Science Teacher\'s Association and the Alaskan Department of Fish and Game and are aligned with Alaska State Science Standards. Many options are available for you and your students. You may choose a one hour nature hike, a 2 or 3-day residential program, or have a naturalist visit your classroom.
