Purpose
Wrangell Institute for Science and Environment provides science and environmental education, supports scientific research, and shares the natural wonders of the Copper River Basin.
The environmental education programs provided - Aquatic Ecology Camp, Science Lecture Series, Summer Hikes, In-Class Science- School Programs, Changing Seasons - School Programs, Earth Discovery Day- School Programs, and shared programs with partners Wrangell Mountains Center: Geology Camp and the Copper River Watershed Project: Copper River Stewardship Program.
